If you are 72 years and older you may donate up to $100,000 from your individual retirement account (IRA) to Child Justice as a charitable non-profit without having to treat the withdrawal as taxable income. The giving incentive is of particular value to individuals who do not claim itemized deductions on their tax return because the funds are sent directly to the non-profit from IRA accounts and are never counted as income. Consult your tax advisor on whether this is a viable option for you.

Donations of stocks and appreciated securities are one of the most cost-effective assets to use in making a gift to Child Justice. When you transfer ownership of holdings to Child Justice, you receive a charitable deduction at their full market value – and you incur no capital gains tax (subject to IRS deduction limits). Events raise money while raising awareness of Child Justice!
