September 25th Marks Ten Years Since Child Justice Was Incorporated

This month as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the incorporation of Child Justice, Inc, we reflect on the impact we have had in Maryland and beyond and look forward to continuing our work. For a decade, we have worked tirelessly to provide competent legal counsel and representation to non-offending protective parents and abused children to interrupt the cycle of intrafamilial violence. Originally, cases were handled solely by pro bono private attorneys and law firms. As we have grown, we have a developed an in-house legal team which includes a Legal Director, Deputy Legal Director, three staff attorneys, and three paralegals. And we are just getting started!

Our team recently gathered at the Pro Bono Resource Center Block Party in Baltimore, where we were awarded the 2022 Maryland Pro Bono Service - Pro Bono Program Award. We were thrilled to receive this award and can't think of a better way to honor our clients - past, present and future!
